Deal Deletion
Deals within Cinchio Back Office can be marked as deleted if no longer required.
Marking a deal as deleted is simply a way of archiving it. The deal isn't truly deleted; it is simply hidden away in the background, so can be recovered in the future if needed.
You can only delete a deal if:
- You have rights to do so. Click Here if you do not have rights to delete but believe you should.
- The deal is not currently assigned to a menu.
To delete a deal:
- Head to Product Management > Deals > Deals.
- Locate the required deal and select [EDIT].
Within the deal:
- Select [DELETE].
- Confirm the deletion.
The deal is now marked as deleted.
Deal Recovery
As this is a soft delete, the deal can be recovered if required.
To do so, locate the deal (ensuring that the Show Deleted search filter is set to "Yes") and access the deal record again.
Select [UNDELETE] and confirm the recovery; the deal is now available again.
