Deleting Time Clocks
A time clock record can be deleted if no longer required.
You can only delete a time clock record if:
- You have rights to do so. (Click Here if you do not have rights to delete but believe you should.)
- The time clock is in Open Shift or Close Shift state. (Click Here if the time clock needs to be rolled back.)
To delete a time clock:
- Head to User Management > Time Clocks.
- Locate the required time clock record and select [EDIT].
Within the time clock:
- Select [DELETE].
- Confirm the deletion.
The time clock is now marked as deleted. For audit purposes, the deleted time clock can still be accessed and details related to the deletion are available to view.
Recovering Deleted Time Clocks
As this is a soft delete, the time clock record can be recovered if required.
To do so, locate the time clock record (ensuring that the Show Deleted search filter is set to "Yes") and access the time clock record again.
Select [UNDELETE] and confirm the recovery; the time clock is now available again.
