Frequently Asked Questions
Can I See When A Menu Was Last Published?
Within a menu, you can see when the menu was last published against each location/destination pairing currently assigned to that menu.
Can I See Which Menus Are Active?
Cinchio Back Office is unable to see which menus are currently active on third-party menu platforms. However, we can work out if a menu is active based on when menus are published to a destination for a location, and show any menus that were last published as "Active" like so:
Troubleshooting
My Menu Publication Has Failed.
After publishing a menu, if the API Status shows as "Failure", the menu has been either been unable to reach the destination or has been rejected by the destination.
Check to ensure that the menu has been Validated and that all validation errors have been resolved. A pending validation error may be the reason that the menu is being rejected by the destination.
If the menu has no validation errors, attempt to publish the menu to the destination again. If the second attempt fails too, contact Cinchio support for assistance:
My Menu Publication Succeeded, But The Menu Has Not Updated.
After a successful completion of a menu publication within Centegra Plus, please note that it may take up to 15 minutes for certain menu destination platforms to reflect the updated menu.
Additionally, it's advisable to double-check the menu publication settings to ensure the correct publication time and date were selected.
If the menu publication time has passed and it has been at least 15 minutes since you published the menu, attempt to publish the menu to the destination again. If the second attempt fails too, contact Cinchio support for assistance:
Publishing One Menu Made Another Disappear.
In cases where your location features multiple menus (e.g., separate Breakfast and Lunch menus), certain menu destination platforms may require all menus to be published simultaneously, even if only one menu has been updated.
If you notice that one of the menus has disappeared from the destination platform, it could be due to menus not being published at the same time. To resolve this, try re-publishing the menus, ensuring that all menus for the location are selected within the same publication.
