Recording Wastage
To record wastage via the Operations Hub:
- Access the Operations Hub via your FOH device.
- Select [Record Wastage via the home page.
Within the wastage entry form, first select either:
- Wastage Date Time: The date and time of the wastage.
- Sales Date & Day Part: Select the date and day part of the wastage. (Available only if Wastage Day Parts are configured for the site.)
Then select the product to waste either by selecting a product from the "Select Product" list, or locating a product from the Wastage Product Menu on the right (if configured).
After selecting a product:
- Reason: Select a Wastage Reason from the list.
- Size: Select the size being wasted. (Applicable for Inventory Management users only.)
- Quantity: Enter the quantity being wasted based on the size shown.
Repeat to add additional products if required and then select [SUBMIT] to create a Pending wastage record for these items in Cinchio Back Office, to be checked and Approved later.
Wastage Entry Customisation
It is possible to customise the front-of-house wastage entry process for your locations:
