Line Check Templates
Set up the products your line checks include, for one site or every site.

About
Line check templates set which products are included when you create a line check.
Who can use a template
One site
Only that site can use it. Log in to that site to create or edit the template.
All sites
Every site can use it. Log in at Head Office to create or edit it.
Required products
Mark a product as Required and users must enter a count for it before the line check can be completed.
Ready to start?
Go to the Create tab.
Create
Set up a new template and add the products your line checks should include.
Steps

Start a new template
Log in to the site the template is for, or at Head Office for a template all sites can use. Go to Period Management > Line Checks > Line Check Templates and select New Line Check Template.

Name it
Enter a Line Check Name and select Save. The template opens.

Add products
Select New Template Item, then fill in the new row:
The product to include.
Tick this if a count must be entered for the product.
Repeat for each product you want to add.

Save the template
Select Save Line Check Template.
The template can now be chosen when you create a line check.
Edit
Change which products are required, reorder them or add more.
Past line checks aren't affected
Editing a template doesn't change any line checks that have already used it.
Steps

Log in to the right site
Log in to the template's site. For a company-wide template, log in at Head Office.

Open the template
Go to Period Management > Line Checks > Line Check Templates, find the template and select Edit.

Make your changes
You can then:
Tick or untick Required on any existing product row.
Use the drag-and-drop buttons on each row to move products up or down the list.
Select New Template Item, choose the Product, and tick Required if a count must be entered.
Search
See the line check templates available to your site.
No search filters yet
When you open Period Management > Line Checks > Line Check Templates, every company-wide template and any templates for the site you're logged in to are listed. You can't currently filter or search this list.
What's shown
The name of the template.
When the template was created.
The user who created the template.
Delete
Remove a template you no longer need.
You can only delete a template if
You have delete rights
If you don't but think you should, find out how to get access.
You're at the right site
Log in to the template's site, or at Head Office for a template all sites use.
This can't be undone
Deleting is permanent. The template can't be recovered.
Steps

Open the template
Go to Period Management > Line Checks > Line Check Templates, find the template and select Edit.

Delete and confirm
Select Delete, then confirm.
The line check template has been deleted.
