About
Production plans tell your kitchen how much of each product to prepare, based on what sold on the same day of the week in the past.
Plans are created automatically each day, between 1 and 7 days ahead, and laid out in sections as set in Production Plan Configuration. Choose how far ahead they're created.
How a plan moves on
Pending
Created, with suggested quantities to review.
Editing
Quantities or predicted sales being changed.
Approved
Ready to print and use. Who approved it, and when, is recorded.
Completed
The sales date has passed. Deleted after 7 days.

If plans are missing, you can create them straight away, within the same 1 to 7 day range.
1

Any missing plans are created, for every plan that's active in the configuration. Larger plans can take a moment.

3
Review the quantities
While the plan is Pending, review the Planned Qty for each product in each section. They're based on sales of each product on the same weekday in period 1. The sections and time slots are laid out as set in Production Plan Configuration.
4
Change the plan (optional)
If anything needs changing, select EDIT PLAN to move the plan to Editing. Otherwise, go to the next step.
What do you want to change?
Predicted sales
If you expect more or less trade than predicted, such as for an event or good weather, change the predicted sales. Every planned quantity goes up or down by the same proportion.
1
Select EDIT against Predicted Sales.
2
Enter the New Predicted Sales. The Current Predicted Sales is shown for reference.
3
Select REGENERATE PLAN.
The plan refreshes with the new quantities. You can still change individual quantities.
Individual quantities
Find the product in its section, then change its Planned Qty. For reference, each product also shows:
The original planned quantity, based on period 1 sales.
Recent sales, based on period 2.
Repeat for each product you need to change.
5
Approve the plan
Select APPROVE PLAN. Who approved it, and when, is recorded.
6
Print it (optional)
Print the plan, if you need to:
PRINT PLAN
At the top of the plan. Prints every section.
At the top of a section. Prints just that section.
The plan is approved and ready for the kitchen.
No need to complete it
Once the sales date has passed, the plan moves to Completed by itself. Completed plans are deleted after 7 days.
