Order Delivery & Notification
Against each location, you can define the method in which the customer will input their details at checkout and the way in which they'll be notified once their order is ready.
Delivery & Notification settings are available for the following order channels:
- Mobile
- F&B Kiosk
Head to Digital Order Management > Advanced Options > Location Setup.
Select the location, then navigate to the following sections within General Order Settings:
- Kiosk Delivery & Notification Management
- Mobile Delivery & Notification Management
Within a section, select [Edit[ to update Delivery & Notification settings for that channel to:
- Add a new Delivery Method.
- Edit an existing Delivery Method.
- Update the order of Delivery Methods, if multiple exist per fulfilment type.
When adding or updating a Delivery Method, the following options are available:
- Delivery Method: Select the way in which the order is given to the customer.
- Notification Method: Select the way(s) in which the customer is notified when the order is ready.
- Display Name: Enter the display name to show to customer when selecting an order flow.
- KMS Name: If different to Display Name, enter a name to show in the kitchen for orders placed this way.
- Order Ready SMS Message: If required, enter a custom SMS message to send when orders are ready.
Additional settings which may be required, depending on the selected Delivery Method option, include:
- If the "Table" or "Onsite Orders" Delivery Method is selected:

Delivery Location Method: Specify whether the delivery location is identified using:
- Custom Text Entry: The customer types in the table number or delivery location.
- Delivery Points: Select predefined Delivery Points configured against the site.
- Text Entry Prompt: If the Custom Text Entry method is selected, you can enter text to show to customers against the custom text field.
- Delivery Points: If the Delivery Points method is selected, pick which Delivery Points to use.

Delivery Location Method: Specify whether the delivery location is identified using:
- If the "Apex Locker" Delivery Method is selected:
- Apex Locker Preparer ID: As provided via the Apex Locker integration.
- Apex Locker Delivery Method: Select from Manual or Pick List.

Kiosk Delivery & Notification
For Kiosk, there are two Delivery Method options available:

Apex Locker
- Used for customers to collect orders via a locker, for locations utilising an Apex Locker integration.
- Available Notification Methods: Pickup Code Via Text Message.

Counter Collection
- Used for customers collecting orders from a collection counter.
- Available Notification Methods: Other (E.g. Order Ready Board), Text Message, Buzzer.
Mobile Delivery & Notification
For Mobile, there are four Delivery Method options available:

Apex Locker
- Used for customers to collect orders via a locker, for locations utilising an Apex Locker integration.
- Available Notification Methods: Pickup Code Via Text Message.

Counter Collection
- Used for customers collecting orders from a collection counter.
- Available Notification Methods: Other (E.g. Order Ready Board), Text Message.

Onsite Delivery
- Used for customers to receive orders to a delivery location on site (e.g. room).
- Available Notification Methods: Other (E.g. Order Ready Board).
- A Delivery Location Method must be defined as covered previously.

Table Service
- Used for customers to receive orders to a table.
- Available Notification Methods: Other (E.g. Order Ready Board), Text Message.
- A Delivery Location Method must be defined as covered previously.
