Safe Counts
Count the cash in an account and compare it with the balance in Cinchio Back Office.

Introduction
A safe count compares the cash you count in an account with the account's balance in Cinchio Back Office. Safe counts are also how cashier counts are recorded.
For reference only
A safe count doesn't change the account's balance, whatever was counted.
Set up accounts first
Safe counts only work on accounts set up for them. In site account setup, for any Cash or Control account, turn on Include In Safe Counts and choose a count template.
Safe Count States
Every safe count moves through these states:
Preparation
Created and can still be edited.
Counted
Count entered, and any variance shown.
Approved
Approved, and any variance accepted.
Completed
The period it falls in is complete. Only if you use periods.
