Frequently Asked Questions
Can Wastage Be Recorded At The POS?
Some POS systems integrated into Cinchio Back Office allow for wastage to be recorded which flows through as Wastage into Cinchio.
In cases where that option is not available, the Cinchio Operations Hub provides access to record wastage from the POS browser or any other front-of-house device with access to the internet. For more details, Click Here.
Troubleshooting
The Product I Need To Waste Is Not Listed
For companies subscribed to the Inventory Management module, any product configured as an Inventory Product can be selected to waste. The appropriate stock movements are then generated to remove those items from inventory as a loss within the stock period.
For companies not subscribed to the Inventory Management module, stock type Other products can be wasted for reporting purposes only.
If you are unable to locate the require product(s), contact your company's Inventory Management administrator.
