Blind Stock Counts
Keep expected stock figures out of sight until end-of-period counts are in, so counts reflect what's really on the shelf.

Introduction
Blind Stock Counts stops users seeing expected stock on hand figures before they enter their end-of-period stock counts.
While a stock period is in Current or Pending state, all of its Stock Period Reports are hidden, both within the period and from the main menu. They become available once the period is Approved.

Results locked
A user with the right permissions can roll an Approved period back to Pending to make corrections.
Once the period is Approved, you can review the reports. From there, either mark the period as Completed to lock all period results, or roll it back to Pending to make corrections.
Line Checks
Line Checks can still show expected stock on hand figures during a period. These are limited to the products selected in your company's configuration, and each line check record shows who declared it and when.

Blind Stock Counts is set for each site, and you can turn it on or off at any time. This means you can use it:

As a standard control across all your sites.

For sites under audit, then switched off again afterwards.
