Enterprise Reports: Daily Sales Summary

This report is only available to enterprise users with access to multiple companies.

Report Information

The Daily Sales Summary report gives enterprise users a clear daily view of key sales metrics across all companies in one place. View consolidated results or break them down by company, or company sites, to track performance at the level you need.

Access the Daily Sales Summary report via: Sales Reports > Daily Sales Summary.

The output of the report can very depending on the selected report filter options.

If required, this report can be created as a Saved Report and set up to send out periodically. 

Information on report filter options

The table below summarises report filter options available for this report.

Date Range Select which date range to include sales for. 
Companies Select which companies to report on. 
View Type

Select whether to view the report as: 

  • Consolidated: To combine all companies into one output. (Per currency.)
  • Split By Company: To see a separate output per company.
  • Split By Company & Site: To see a separate output per company, with sub-sections per site.  
  • Split By Company & Site & Location: To see a separate output per company, with sub-sections per site location.

The output of the Daily Sales Summary report is split into sections based on the View Type filter option selected.

Tax Inclusive Reporting (E.g. UK)

For companies using the Tax Inclusive Reporting Profile, this view of the report is shown as per the image below.

The table below summarises the data shown in each column of this report view. 

Sales Date Displays the Sales Date that the sales are assigned against. 
Week Day Displays the day of week of the sales date shown.
Cust. Count Displays the total Customer Count for the day.
Cust. Average Displays the average gross transaction amount per customer.
Sale Quantity Displays the quantity of items sold for the day. 
Gross Displays the total gross sale value.
Net Displays the total net sale value. 
Tax Displays the total sales tax value. 
Discount Displays the total gross discount value. 

 

Tax Exclusive Reporting (E.g. USA)

For companies using the Tax Exclusive Reporting Profile, this view of the report is shown as per the image below.

The table below summarises the data shown in each column of this report view. 

Sales Date Displays the Sales Date that the sales are assigned against. 
Week Day Displays the day of week of the sales date shown.
Cust. Count Displays the total Customer Count for the day.
Cust. Average Displays the average gross transaction amount per customer.
Sale Quantity Displays the quantity of items sold for the day. 
Gross Displays the total gross sale value, before discount removed.
Total Displays the total sales revenue received. 
Net Displays the total net sale value. 
Tax Displays the total sales tax value. 
 Discount Displays the total net discount value.
