Introduction
In Cinchio Back Office Product Management, price levels are used to store product prices and tax settings. They allow you to support different pricing setups and reporting requirements.
For example, you might create separate price levels for Eat In and Take Out if prices differ. You could also set up individual price levels for different delivery partners to track sales by aggregator, even if the prices themselves are the same.
There are two types of price levels:
Cinchio Back Office – Created and managed within Cinchio Back Office. These are typically used for menu management, remote ordering integrations and Back Office ordering.
POS – Automatically created through a POS integration. These act as reference points for pricing held in the POS.
To keep things organised and make reporting easier, each price level is assigned a Price Level Type. This groups similar price levels together. For example, multiple delivery-related price levels can be grouped under a single Delivery type for clearer reporting.
