Auto-Generate Pending Bank Deposits
Create a cash bank deposit automatically each time a cash up is approved, so none get missed.

About
Auto-generate pending deposits makes sure no cash bank deposits are missed. Once it's on, approving a cash up creates a bank deposit for the cash counted.
Cash up approved
The cash is counted and moved into the cash account.
Deposit created
A bank deposit is created in Preparation, from the Deposit Count To account to the site's default bank account.
Deposited
When the cash leaves the site, check the deposit, change it if needed and mark it as deposited.
Best for one cash up a day
A bank deposit is created for every cash up, so we only recommend this for sites that do one combined cash up a day.
Ready to turn it on?
Go to the Configuration tab.
Configuration
Choose the default deposit date, then choose which cash account creates the deposits. Do this for each site.
Log in to the site first
This is a site setting, so log in to the site you're setting up.
Steps

Open the site's Revenue Management settings
Go to Company Settings > Site Setup > Site > Revenue Management.

Choose the default deposit date
Set Auto Pending Banking Date to one of:
Then save the site.

Open the cash account
Go to Company Settings > Accounts Setup > Site Accounts and choose the Cash account. It should be the account cash goes into when a cash up is approved, and comes out of when it's banked.

Turn on pending deposits
Turn on Generate Pending Bank Deposit For Cash Ups and select SAVE.
The site now creates a pending bank deposit whenever a cash up moves cash into that account. Repeat for every site that needs it.
