Report Information
The Price List report provides a list of prices and tax rates per product on selected price levels.
For users assigned to a user role with Update rights for this report, the prices and tax rates can be edited via this report too.
Access the Price List report via: Reports & Analysis > Data > Price List.
The output of the report can very depending on the selected report filter options.
If required, this report can be created as a Saved Report and set up to send out periodically.
Information on report filter options
The table below summarises report filter options available for this report.
| Price Level | Select which price levels to include. The report allows a maximum of 4 selected. |
| Saleable | Select whether to include saleable and/or non-saleable products. |
| Product Groups | Select which product groups to include. If left blank, all groups will be included. |
| Stock Types | Select which product stock types to include. If left blank, all types will be included. |
| Deleted Products | Select whether to also include products previously marked as being deleted. |
| Merchant | For multi-merchant companies only, select which merchant to return products for. If left blank, products from all merchants will be included. (Only lists POS merchants associated with the site, unless logged into the HQ site where all merchants are listed.) |
Report Output
The report displays a table displaying pricing information for up to four price levels.
Additional Information On This View
All Reporting Profiles
Regardless of which Reporting Profile your company uses, this view of the report is the same as per the example image above.
The table below summarises the data shown in each column of this report view.
| Product | Displays the name of the product. |
| <Price Level> | Displays the price and tax rate against each product for the price level shown in the column header. Depending on the Price Levels selected in the report filter, up to 4 price level columns can show. |
Updating Prices
If you are assigned to a user role that has Update rights for this report, you can add and update prices and tax rates for products against price levels within the report.
Adding A New Price
If the product does not have a price yet, select [Add Price] in the relevant column and in the New Price window:

Price Type: Select either:
- Price for a standard price.
- Open Price if required for open entry. (Selected platforms only.)
- Price: Enter the price.
- Tax Rate: Select the tax rate of the product on this price level. This will populate by default if the price level has a default tax rate defined, but can be overridden
- Price Excludes Tax: Select this if the price is exclusive of tax.
Updating Prices
If the product already has a price and it needs updating, simply edit the price and/or tax rate in the relevant field.
When you exit the field, the border will change to blue to indicate that the change has been saved.
