Product KMS Names
See and update the names your products show on the Logwood KMS.

About
The Product KMS Names report is for companies using the Logwood KMS. It lists your products and the KMS name for each, and lets you update those names quickly.
Open it from Reports & Analysis > Data > Product KMS Names. What it shows depends on the filters you choose.
Filters
Choose these before you run the report.
All or part of a product's name.
A product's PLU.
A product's ID.
The product groups to include. Leave blank for all.
Optionally, a product family to show only its products.
For multi-merchant companies only, the merchant to show products for. Leave blank for all.
Only the site's POS merchants are listed, unless you're logged in at Head Office, where all merchants are listed.
Report Output
A table of products and their KMS names.
Same for every reporting profile
This report looks the same whichever reporting profile your company uses.
Columns
The product's unique ID. Select it to open the product.
The product's Cinchio Back Office description.
The description shown on the Logwood KMS kitchen print or screen for remote orders.

Update KMS Names
Change the name a product shows on the kitchen print or KMS screen.
You have update rights
Your user role needs Update rights for this report. If it doesn't, find out how to get access.
Steps

Enter the name
In the KMS Name column, enter the name you want on the kitchen print or screen.

Check it fits
Click out of the field and check the border colour:
Green border
20 characters or fewer, so it fits on one line.
Red border
Over 20 characters. Shorten it to fit the KMS limit.
The KMS name is saved.
20-character limit
The kitchen print and KMS screen show up to 20 characters per line.
