About
The Pick Up Screen is a browser-based display that tells customers and staff when orders are ready to collect. It's ideal for smaller operations, and works on any device with a browser.
Preparing
Orders being made are listed here, with the order method, order reference and, where there is one, the customer's name.
Ready
When an order is marked as ready, it moves to the column for its pick up point.
Getting started
Each one is a column on the screen.
Bookmark it on your front-of-house device.

Configuration
Set up the pick up points that show as columns on the screen. You need at least one before you open the screen.
What do you want to do?
Create a pick up point

Start a new pick up point
Go to Company Settings > Site Setup > Pick Up Points and select New Pick Up Point.

Name it
Enter a Pick Up Point Name and select Save.
The pick up point is created. Change its settings to choose how it looks and behaves.
Change its settings

Open the pick up point
Go to Company Settings > Site Setup > Pick Up Points and select Edit against the pick up point.

Change the settings
Change any of:
Its name.
How many minutes orders show in this column.
The most tickets this column can show.
Tick to show this pick up point on the screen.
To change how the column header looks, use Pick Header Colour and Pick Font Colour.

Save
Select Save Pick Up Point.
The Pick Up Screen uses the new settings.
Delete a pick up point

Open the pick up point
Go to Company Settings > Site Setup > Pick Up Points and select Edit against the pick up point.

Delete it
Select Delete and confirm.
The pick up point is removed from the site and the screen.
Access
The Pick Up Screen opens from a secure link. Open it once, then bookmark it on your front-of-house device.

Steps

Open the screen
Go to Company Settings > Site Setup > Pick Up Points and select Open Pick Up Screen.

Bookmark it
The screen opens in your browser. Bookmark it, so you can go straight to it next time.
The Pick Up Screen is ready to use.
Need a new link?
Go back to Company Settings > Site Setup > Pick Up Points, select Update Pick Up Screen Settings and follow the prompts. Any old bookmarks will stop working, so update them.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
QWhy isn't an order showing in a pick up point column?
Check the pick up point is Enabled, and that it hasn't reached its Max Tickets. Orders also drop off once their Ticket Show Duration has passed. See the pick up point settings.
