About
Order notifications keep customers up to date with their order, such as when it's ready to collect.
Cinchio Back Office doesn't message customers itself. Instead, at key points in the order, it posts a webhook to the platform the order came from, so that platform can notify the customer in its own way.
Order update
For example, the order is marked as ready.
Webhook posted
Sent to the webhook set up for the order's source.
Customer notified
The ordering platform lets the customer know.
Two ways to send them
Automatically, from the KMS
Notifications are sent from your kitchen management system as orders move through it.
By hand, from Remote Orders
Staff select READY! or NOTIFY against an order in Remote Orders in the Operations Hub.
Ready to set it up?
