About
The Just Eat integration sends Just Eat orders straight into Cinchio Back Office, so you don't have to enter them by hand. You build your Just Eat menus in Cinchio Back Office and publish them from there.
Order integration
Just Eat orders show in your reporting and on your kitchen screens. With Inventory Management, they use stock as they come in. With Revenue Management, they're tracked through to reconciliation and GL extracts.
Menu integration
Manage your Just Eat menus in one place, alongside your other menus. No need to map products to product IDs in Just Eat.
Understanding and managing your integration
Which part of the integration?
Orders
Just Eat orders come into Cinchio Back Office as soon as they're accepted. Each order is converted to the same format as your other sales, so it reports in the same way.
What each transaction includes
The products sold in the order, with their modifiers.
The gross price paid. Net and tax are worked out from each product's tax rate in Cinchio Back Office.
Order discounts, at transaction level. Tax on the discount uses the average tax rate of the items in the order. See discounts.
Not treated as combo discounts by default. See meal deals.
The order's pick-up time.
The order reference, and any order and item notes.
Orders on your KMS
If your site uses an integrated KMS, the order goes to the kitchen when it's received. For future orders, it goes a set number of minutes before pick-up.
Managing the order integration
Log in to the site, go to Company Settings > Site Setup > Locations and select EDIT against the location. Open the Remote Sales Integrations tab.

Steps
1
Ask Cinchio to set up the integration
If you haven't already discussed it with your account manager, contact Cinchio using the buttons at the top of this article.
Cinchio sets up each location in Cinchio Back Office for you, then gives you:
Location ID
One for each location. You'll give it to Just Eat in step 3.
Integration price level
The price level used for Just Eat orders. You'll set it up in step 2.
2
Enter prices and tax rates
On the integration price level, enter the correct price and tax rate for every product you sell on Just Eat.
Tax rates matter
The tax rates on this price level set the net and tax values of every Just Eat transaction in Cinchio Back Office.
3
Give Just Eat your Location IDs
Send Just Eat the Location ID for each location, so they can set up the integration on their side. Just Eat will confirm once it's assigned.
4
Set up your menus
Have you published menus to Just Eat from Cinchio Back Office before?
5
Publish your menus
Once Just Eat has confirmed the Location ID is assigned, publish your menus to the new locations. See Menu Publications.
Just Eat orders now come into Cinchio Back Office, and your menus are live on Just Eat.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
QHow are cancelled Just Eat orders handled?
Just Eat doesn't share cancellations through its integration, so cancelled orders stay in Cinchio Back Office until you remove them.
To remove a cancelled order from reporting, reverse its transaction. See reversing a transaction.
QHow are Just Eat refunds handled?
Just Eat doesn't share refunds through its integration, so refunds made by Just Eat don't show in Cinchio Back Office automatically. To record one, either:
Reverse the transaction
For a full refund. See reversing a transaction.
Enter a refund
For a full or partial refund. See entering a customer order.
Closed periods
If your site uses periods, you can't reverse a transaction or enter a refund once the period the refund date falls in has closed.
QHow are Just Eat discounts handled?
Discounts on Just Eat orders are recorded against one "Just Eat Discount" product, which reports alongside your other discounts. Tax on the discount uses the average tax rate of the items it applies to.
QCan I manage my menus in Just Eat instead?
No. Just Eat requires menus to be created through the menu integration, so build them in Menu Management and publish them from Cinchio Back Office.
QI have more than one Just Eat account. Can I publish menus to all of them?
Yes. Each Just Eat account needs its own Just Eat menu destination for your company. To arrange this, contact Cinchio using the buttons at the top of this article.
QDo I need to republish menus after every change?
Republish when you change anything that's published to Just Eat, such as names, prices, images or availability.
You don't need to republish after changing a product's tax rate, or after suspending a product.
Troubleshooting
Meal deals aren't reporting as combos
By default, Just Eat sends a meal deal as a single product, with its items as zero-priced modifiers. So meal deals don't report as combo discounts.
To report them alongside your other combos, turn on Combo Reconciliation for the integration. See delivery meal deals.
