Introduction
Product Families help you organise your products in a more flexible way beyond standard reporting groups. They let you group items together based on how you actually use them in your business.
You can use Product Families for things like:
- Kitchen management – Control which products appear in specific kitchen areas
- Production planning – Choose which items are included in different production plans
- Remote sales covers – Decide which products count towards spend per guest
- Deals & discounts – Set which products are included in offers and meal deals
- Third-party integrations – Group products to match external system requirements
There are two easy ways to build a Product Family:
1. Add individual products
Pick specific items to include. This gives you full control, but you’ll need to update the family when new products are added.
2. Add product groups
Add entire groups instead of individual items. Any new products added to those groups will automatically be included, saving you time.
