Use POS Setup > Menus when you need to change where product keys appear on the POS. The menu definition controls the layout operators see when selling.
Open the menu layout
- Go to POS Setup > Menus.
- Locate the menu that is assigned to the relevant POS or location.
- Select the pencil icon in the left-hand column to edit the menu.
- Open the Definition tab to review the current key layout and submenus.
Move or add a product key
- Find the submenu or area where the product should appear.
- Choose the position where the key should be placed.
- Select the key field and choose the product, combo, product size, or parent product that should appear there.
- For size templates, product matrix items, and style templates, add the parent product or product-size key when you want all sizes or styles available from a single POS key.
- If only certain generated products should be sold in a location, add the specific product variation instead of the parent key.
Check the result
- Save the menu changes.
- Confirm the POS menu is assigned to the correct POS profile or location.
- Check the key on a test POS or test environment if available.
- Confirm the product is still in the correct family for the location, otherwise it may not be available even if the key exists.
Checks before saving
- Menu position controls what operators see; families and product setup control whether the product is actually available for sale.
