Introduction
The front-of-house (FOH) Operations Hub is changing week commencing 5th January 2026.
These changes include:
- Improvements to design and navigation of the Operations Hub.
- Improvements to access to the Operations Hub.
- Additional controls over FOH tools available within the Operations Hub.
Current Design
For reference: The current Operations Hub layout, being changed in January 2026 as covered below.
Design & Menu Changes
When accessing the Operations Hub, you'll be taken into the new dedicated home page:
In the header, as well as a sleeker design, you'll see reference to the individual location within your site that the Hub relates to. The new home button on the right is available on all pages to return you to this home page.
The home page has distinct sections to help you locate the resources that you need:
- Sales Dashboard: Quickly view your sales dashboard to see sales so far today at this location.
- Operations Tools: Access the FOH tools available within the Operation Hubs for your location.
- Help & Support: Links to Cinchio resources outside of the Hub.
Access Changes
Location-Level Access
The Operations Hub becomes available at location-level.
Generate and access the tokenised URL, unique to each location, within the Locations section:
The location-specific URL can then be bookmarked on FOH devices (i.e. POS, tablets) for quick access during service.
[Note that existing till-specific URLs currently bookmarked on devices will remain active and will redirect to the location that the till is assigned to.]
Back Office Access
The Operations Hub Access landing page widget can also be enabled within your User Profile for quick access to the Operations Hub for all locations within your site via the Back Office:
Restricting FOH Tools
Finally, restricts can be applied on which FOH tools are available within the Operations Hub for all locations across the company.
Within the Company setup page, the Operations Hub section allows you to:
- Select which Dashboard View to use as the FOH sales dashboard on the Hub.
- Select which tools are available within the Operations Tools section of the Hub main menu.
