Delivery Points
Within Cinchio Back Office, you can configure Delivery Points to represent tables and onsite delivery locations available within your site for customers to place orders against.
Delivery Points are hierarchical, providing the flexibility of having just one tier for a simple list of Delivery Points, or up to three tiers to help guide your customers to easily select where they're positioned when placing an order.
Creating Delivery Points
To create a new Delivery Points hierarchy within a site:
- Head to Company Settings > Site Setup > Delivery Points.
- Select [New Delivery points Hierarchy].
Within the New Delivery Points Hierarchy window:
- Delivery Points Hierarchy Name: Enter a name for the delivery points.
Select [Create].
You can now assign the individual Delivery Points against this hierarchy as covered in the next section.
Editing Delivery Points
Individual Delivery Points
To add a Deliver Points into the first tier of the hierarchy:
- Select [Add Delivery Location]
- Enter the name in the new row and select [Save].
To add Delivery Points into the second or third tier of the hierarchy:
- Identify the parent row that the Delivery Point should be assigned to.
- Select [Add] against that row.
- Enter the new in the new row and select [Save].
Against each existing row you can:
- Select [Edit] to update the name.
- Select [Add] to add a child Delivery Point in the next tier.
- Select [Delete] to remove a row, providing that no child Delivery Points are assigned in the next tier.
- Use the drag-and-drop icon to position the Delivery Point within the parent it is assigned to.
Bulk Add Delivery Points
For Delivery Points using a numerical system, such as Tables and Rooms, the Bulk Add feature can be used to add many Delivery Points into a tier in one go.
Select [Bulk Add], and in the Bulk Add Delivery Locations window enter:
- Tier: Select the tier that you are adding Delivery Points in to.
- Parent: If Tier 2 or Tier 3 was selected, select the option in that tier to assign these against.
- Prefix: If applicable, enter text to prefix all Delivery Locations.
- Start & End Value: Enter the first and last numerical values required at this tier.

Increments: Select the incrementation required between the Start Value and End Value.
- Increments of 1 will show that value singularly, e.g. "Table 1".
- Increments greater than 1 will show the values as a range, "e.g. Tables 1 - 10".
Then select [Create].
The Delivery Points will then be added into the hierarchy and can be managed individual as covered above, or additional Delivery Points can be added in bulk if required.
Searching Delivery Points
Access the Delivery Points section via: Company Settings > Site Setup > Delivery Points.
All Delivery Point Hierarchies available to the site are listed.
Deleting Delivery Points
A Delivery Point can be deleted if no longer required.
You can only delete a Delivery Point if:
- The Delivery Point is not in use against a location with Digital Order Management Location Settings.
- You have rights to do so. Click Here if you do not have rights to delete but believe you should.
To delete a Delivery Point:
- Head to Company Settings > Site Setup > Delivery Points.
- Locate the required Delivery and select [EDIT].
Within the Delivery Point:
- Select [DELETE].
- Confirm the deletion.
The pick up point is now delete. This is a hard delete; the Delivery Point cannot be recovered.
