Adding a printer in Cinchio Back Office
1
Add the printer
On the SDP Printers tab, select Add SDP Printer and enter a Printer Name that people will recognise. It's what they see when choosing where to print.
2
Copy the SDP URL
The printer is listed with its SDP URL. You'll need this, and the SDP Passcode, to set up the printer.
Now set up the printer.
Setting up the printer
Set-up depends on the printer model. Supported models include the Epson M30III.
1
Find the IP address
Get the printer's IP address on your network. It looks something like 192.168.1.150. Your IT team can help if you don't know it.
2
Open it in a browser
On a device on the same network as the printer, open a web browser, such as Chrome, Edge or Safari, and go to the IP address as if it were a website.
3
Open Advanced Settings
On the Epson Web Config page, select Advanced Settings. If you're asked for an administrator password, it may have been given to you when the printer was installed, or be on a label on the printer.
4
Open Server Direct Print
Find TM-i Settings, or similar, depending on the firmware, then select Server Direct Print.
5
Enter the details
Fill in:
The printer's SDP URL from Cinchio Back Office.
5
The SDP Passcode.
6
Save and restart
Save the settings, then restart the printer.
The printer is ready. Send a test print to check it works.
