Two kinds of publication
Standard

Delta
Retail only. Changes to products, prices and deals are sent to retail kiosks automatically, as they happen.
Publishing for lots of locations?
Log in at Head Office. You can then publish to every location from one place. Publications are part of Menu Management.
Ready to start?
Start by validating your menu.
Menu Validation
Validation runs a set of checks on a menu, to catch problems before customers see them. Check each menu after you change it.
Required for some destinations
Some menu destinations won't accept a menu until it's been validated.
Validating a menu
1
Open the menu
Go to Menu Management > Menu Builder and select EDIT against the menu.
2
Validate it
Select VALIDATE MENU.
3
Review the errors
Open the Validation Errors tab to see any problems found.
Fix any critical errors before you publish the menu.
What's checked
The checks depend on what each destination needs, and can include:
Every menu item has a price on the destination's menu item price levels.
Every modifier has a price on the destination's modifier price levels.
Every product is tax inclusive or tax exclusive, to match the default tax setting of the destination's price levels.
Every category has at least one item.
Every menu item has a sales description.
The menu is available for at least, or at most, as long as the destination allows.
Publishing several menus together?
When you publish more than one menu for a location, there's an extra check that their times don't overlap. If they do, the publication is cancelled with a Validation Error status. Check the menu times for that location and validate again.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
QCan I see when a menu was last published?
Yes. In a menu, you can see when it was last published for each location and destination it's linked to.
QCan I see which menus are active?
Cinchio Back Office can't see which menus are live on third-party platforms. Instead, it works out which menus are active from the most recent publications to each destination for each location, and marks those as Active.
Troubleshooting
My menu publication has failed
An API Status of Failure means the menu couldn't reach the destination, or the destination rejected it.
1
Check the menu has been validated, and fix any errors. An unresolved error may be why the destination rejected it.
2
Publish the menu again.
3
If it fails again, contact the European Helpdesk or the North American Helpdesk.
My publication succeeded, but the menu hasn't updated
Some destinations can take up to 15 minutes to show an updated menu. Also check the publication date and time were right.
If the publication time has passed and it's been at least 15 minutes, publish the menu again. If it still doesn't update, contact the European Helpdesk or the North American Helpdesk.
Publishing one menu made another disappear
If a location has several menus, such as breakfast and lunch, some destinations need them all published together, even if only one has changed.
Publish the menus again, with every menu for the location in the same publication. If they still don't show as expected, contact the European Helpdesk or the North American Helpdesk.
