The Item Like For Like report compares product sales at your site with past performance. For a selected date, see how sales compare with the previous day, the same day last week and a four-week average, grouped by reporting day part.
Open it from Reports & Analysis > Sales > Item Like For Like. What it shows depends on the filters you choose.

Save this report as a saved report and schedule it to be emailed to you regularly.
Filters
Choose these before you run the report.
The date to report on, or select TODAY or YESTERDAY.
How many days your store was open in the 4 weeks before the report date. The 4-week average is based on this. It defaults to 28, for a 7-day week, but you can enter any number. For example:
The product groups to include. Leave blank for all.
Base the values on Net, Gross or sale Quantity.
Group products by Group, Master Group or Super Group, or choose None.
Optionally, only report on selected day parts.
Report Output
Each product's sales compared with past performance, split by reporting day part and in sections based on your Group By filter.
Same for every reporting profile
This report looks the same whichever reporting profile your company uses.
Columns
The product name, with its PLU in brackets.
The reporting day part, if set up for your site.
The value for the report date, based on the Data Type filter: gross, net or quantity.
The value for the previous day.
The value for the same day last week.
The average value over the previous four weeks.
Comparison colours
Within 5% either way.
More than 5% down.
More than 5% up.
