About
The Product Group Sales report summarises sales by product group, using your custom report grouping hierarchy. Daily breakdowns help you spot overall trends and day-to-day changes.
Open it from Reports & Analysis > Sales > Product Group Sales. What it shows depends on the filters you choose.

Save this report as a saved report and schedule it to be emailed to you regularly.
Filters
Choose these before you run the report.
The sites or site groups to include.
The dates to include sales for.
The product groups to include. Leave blank for all.
The group tier to report on, which sets how many levels the report has:
How groups are ordered in each section:
Tick to open the report with every level expanded. Otherwise, level 1 shows the summary and you can drill down as you need.
Report Output
The report drills down through your group tiers to individual products. How many levels you see depends on the Group By filter.
Super Group
When grouping by Super Group.
Master Group
When grouping by Super Group or Master Group.
Product Group
Always shown.
Product
The final level.

Tax Inclusive (UK style)
Level 1: Selected Group Sales
Sales across the date range for the group tier chosen in Group By. Select a group to drill down.
Further Levels: Product Sales
With Group By set to Super Group or Master Group, drill down through each group tier, with the same figures at every level. The final level shows each product sold in the selected product group.
Columns
Every level uses the same columns.
The group name, or the product name at the product level.
The quantity of products sold in the group, or of the product.
The sale value before discount.
Total gross sales.
Total net sales.
Total tax.
Total gross discount.
The average net sale price of the products.
The group's or product's share of sales within the section shown.
Tax Exclusive (US style)
