The Sales Summary report gives a daily snapshot of key sales figures for each site, plus a consolidated total, with a chart to help you see the trends.
Open it from Reports & Analysis > Sales > Sales Summary. What it shows depends on the filters you choose.
Get it by email
Save this report as a saved report and schedule it to be emailed to you regularly.
Filters
Choose these before you run the report.
The sites or site groups to include.
The dates to include sales for.
The figure used for averages: Net Sales or Gross Sales (total sales).
Report Output
The report has three sections.
1. Sales Chart
Daily net sales per site. By Site view only.
2. Sales Summary
Key figures per site or location.
3. Daily Sales
The same figures for each sales date.

Tax Inclusive (UK style)
1. Sales Chart
A chart of daily net sales for each site across the date range. Only shown when View Type is By Site.
Interactive chart
Hover over the chart to see exact net sales figures. Select a site in the legend to show or hide it.
2. Sales Summary
Key sales figures for each site or location, based on the View Type filter.
3. Daily Sales
The same key sales figures, split by sales date, with a separate section for each site or location.
Columns
Sections 2 and 3 use the same columns, apart from the first one.
Section 2 shows the site or location, based on the View Type filter. Section 3 shows the sales date and day of the week.
The transaction count.
Total gross sales.
Total net sales.
Total tax.
Total gross discount.
The average transaction value, based on the View Sales As filter.
The share of sales across the whole report.
Tax Exclusive (US style)
