Inventory Management only
This report is only available to companies using Inventory Management.
The Preparation Summary report gives an overview of production for Preparation type products recorded with product preparations, including the yields they produce.
Open it from Reports & Analysis > Inventory Management > Preparation Summary. What it shows depends on the filters you choose.

Save this report as a saved report and schedule it to be emailed to you regularly.
Filters
Choose these before you run the report.
The sites or site groups to include.
The dates to include preparation records for.
Report Output
The report has two sections with the same columns: a product summary, and the same figures split by day.
Same for every reporting profile
This report looks the same whichever reporting profile your company uses.
1. Product Summary
Production figures for each product, comparing expected and actual yields and the effect on cost.
2. Daily Summary
The same figures as section 1, split by sales date, for a day-by-day view of production.
Columns
Both sections use the same columns.
What was made
The Preparation type product made.
The quantity made.
The recipe size the made quantity is based on.
What was used
The ingredient used to make the product.
The quantity of the ingredient used.
The pack size the used quantity is based on.
Yield
The expected yield, based on the product recipe.
The actual yield, based on the preparations recorded.
The difference between the expected and actual yield.
The cost of the yield variance.
