Report Information
The Wastage Summary report provides a clear overview of all declared product wastage, including both Approved entries and those still in the Preparation stage. This gives you a complete picture of the wastage process, helping you monitor and manage product loss more effectively across the reporting period.
Access the Wastage Summary Report via: Reports & Analysis > Inventory Management > Wastage > Summary.
The output of the report can very depending on the selected report filter options.
If required, this report can be created as a Saved Report and set up to send out periodically.
Information on report filter options
The table below summarises report filter options available for this report.
| Select Sites | Select which sites and/or site groups to include in the report. |
| Date Range | Select which date range to include data for. |
| Stock Type | Select which stock type(s) to report on. If left blank, all stock types will be included. |
| Product Groups | Select which product groups to include. If left blank, all groups will be included. |
| Order By | Select whether to order wastage by Clerk, Date, Product, Product Group or Waste Type. |
| Wastage Type | Select which wastage type(s) to report on. If left blank, all types will be included. |
| Team Member Type | Select which team member type(s) to report on. If blank, all will be included. |

The report displays a list of user wastage declarations.

Regardless of which Reporting Profile your company uses, this view of the report is the same as per the example image above.
The table below summarises the data shown in each column of this report view.
| Date | Displays the date and time that the wastage was declared. |
| Team Member | Displays the team member that entered the wastage. |
| PLU | Displays the PLU of the product wasted. |
| Product | Displays the name of the product wasted. |
| Product Group | Displays the group that the product is assigned to. |
| Wastage Type | Displays the Wastage Type assigned to the wastage record. |
| Receiving Qty | Displays the quantity of the products receiving unit size wasted. |
| Unit | Displays the product size that the receiving quantity above is based on. |
| Stocking Qty | Displays the quantity of the products stocking unit size wasted. |
| Unit | Displays the product size that the stocking quantity above is based on. |
| Base Qty | Displays the quantity of the products base unit size wasted. |
| Unit | Displays the product size that the base quantity above is based on. |
