Introduction
Day notes let you record information about the day's trading when you cash up. You enter notes under note types you set up, and each type can be optional or required. The notes then appear in the Cash Up Summary report.
Replaces the Notes field
When day notes are turned on, they replace the general Notes field on the cash up count page.
Entering Day Notes
If day notes are turned on for your company, you'll find a Day Notes section at the top of the cash up when entering the cash up count.
Required note types
Shown straight away. You must enter a note, and you can't remove them.
Optional note types
Select NEW DAY NOTE and choose one from the Type list. Remove it with the delete icon on the right.
Notes entered in the cash up then show in the Cash Up Summary report.
