About
Product grouping organises your products for sales reporting, inventory and product management.
The three tiers
Your product group hierarchy has three tiers, and every product is assigned to a product group at the bottom.
Super group
Top-level separation. For example, FOOD, DRINK and RETAIL.
Master group
Mid-level separation, inside a super group. For example, BEER, WINE, SPIRITS and SOFT DRINKS in DRINK.
Product group
Low-level separation, inside a master group. For example, RED WINE, WHITE WINE and ROSE WINE in WINE. Products are assigned here.
