Choose what to add
In the New Product Family Item window, fill in:
Multi-merchant companies only. If you chose Product, choose a merchant to filter the product list.
The products, or the group.
3
Add them
Choose how to add them:
ADD AS ITEMS
Adds each product separately, even if you chose a group. You can remove individual products later, but new products added to the group aren't included.
ADD AS GROUP
Group types only. Adds the group itself, so every product in it is included, and new products added to it later are included automatically. You can't remove individual products from it.
The items show in the Product Family Contents Summary list.
Remove products or groups
1
In the Product Family Contents Summary section, select Remove against the product or group.
The product or group is no longer in the product family.
Refresh from the POS (multi-merchant)
For multi-merchant companies that use product families to group products for each POS merchant. Refreshing replaces the family's contents with the products linked to the POS merchant, as of the last update from the POS.
1
Link the POS venue
In the product family, link the POS Venue and save the product family.
2
Refresh it
Select REFRESH FAMILY CONTENTS and confirm.
This replaces everything
Refreshing removes every item currently in the family, then adds the POS merchant's products.
The product family now contains the POS merchant's products.
