Product Attributes
Tag products with attributes, such as seasonal or promotional, so they're quick to find and can show on your menus.

About
Product attributes are tags you add to products, so they're easier to find in your product database.
For example, you might tag products that are only sold in certain seasons, or during a promotion.
Create
Attributes are set up once, for the whole company.
Assign
Tag products with them in the product setup.
Find
Search for products by their attributes.
Private or public
Private
Only used in Cinchio Back Office, to help you find products.
Public
Also shown against the product on menus you publish with Menu Management.
Ready to start?
Go to the Create tab.
Create
Set up a new attribute to tag products with.
Check it before you use it
Once an attribute is assigned to products, it can't be deleted, and you may not be able to edit it. Check the name and the Public setting first.
Steps
1
Start a new attribute
Go to Company Settings > Company and select the Product Attributes tab. Then select CREATE PRODUCT ATTRIBUTE.

Name it
In the New Product Attribute window, fill in:
A name for the attribute.
Tick to show the attribute against products on menus you publish with Menu Management.

Save it
Select SAVE.
The attribute can now be assigned to products.
Edit
Rename an attribute.
Only the name can change
The name is the only thing you can edit on an attribute.
Steps

Open the attributes
Go to Company Settings > Company and select the Product Attributes tab.

Change the name
Select EDIT against the attribute and change its Name.

Save it
Select SAVE.
The attribute is renamed.
Assign to Products
Tag products with attributes, then use them to find products quickly.

Assign attributes to a product

Open the product
Open the product in the product setup page, on the Product Detail tab.

Choose the attributes
In the Additional Options section, choose the attributes from the Product Attributes list.

Save the product
Select SAVE.
The product can now be found by its attributes.
Find products by attribute
1
Open products
Go to Product Management > Products.

Choose the attributes
In the Search panel, choose one or more attributes in the Attributes filter.

Choose any or all
If you chose more than one, select whether products need any of them or all of them:
ANY
Products with at least one of the attributes.
ALL
Only products with every attribute you chose.

Search
Select SEARCH.
Products with those attributes are listed.
Search
See all your product attributes.
Shown straight away
Go to Company Settings > Company and select the Product Attributes tab. Every product attribute is listed.
