About
Location types let you group locations that have something in common, such as brand, concept or type of outlet.
Wherever there's a location picker, users can then pick every location of a type at once.

Up to three, such as Brand or Outlet Type.
Location types
As many as you need in each group, such as each brand or each kind of outlet.
Ready to start?
Go to the Configure tab.
Configure
Set up your location type groups, and the types in each one.
Steps

Open Location Types
Go to Company Settings > Company, open the Sites tab, then Location Types.

Name the groups
Enter a name at the top of each column you want to use as a group. You don't have to use all three.

Add the types
In a column, select ADD OPTION and enter a location type. Repeat for every type in each group.
The location types are ready. Next, give each location its types.
Assign
Give each location its type in each group.
Steps
1
Open the location
Log in to the site, go to Company Settings > Site Setup > Locations and select EDIT against the location.

Choose its types
On the Location Details tab, choose the location's type in each group. See location details.

Save
Select SAVE.
The location can now be picked by its types.
