About
Customer Check In is built into the Operations Hub, so front-of-house teams can check members and loyalty customers into your location using their membership card or customer code.
It records when each customer arrives, and whether they brought any guests, against their customer record in Cinchio Back Office.
Ready to start?
Go to the Customer Check In tab.
Customer Check In
Check a customer in when they arrive, by scanning their card or entering their code.
Steps

Open Customer Check In
Open the Operations Hub on your front-of-house device and select Customer Check In on the home page.

Scan or enter the customer's code
In the Customer Check In window, do one of the following:
Scan the card
Scan the barcode on the customer's membership card.
Enter the code
Type the customer's code and select Enter.
Using the camera?
You may need to allow access to your device's camera first.

Check the details and confirm
If the code is valid, the Customer Check In Confirmation window opens:
The name on the customer account.
The customer's current points balance.
Whether the customer has already visited the location today, with the time of each earlier check in.
Record whether the customer has brought any guests with them.
Then select Check In.
The customer's record is updated with the time they checked in, and whether any guests came with them.

Frequently asked questions
QWhich membership cards can be scanned?
Membership cards for customers that exist in Cinchio Back Office. The code on the card must match the Customer Code on the customer account.
Supported barcodes
Customer Check In currently supports Code 128 barcodes.
