Staff record the wastage in the Operations Hub.
Preparation
A wastage record is created, waiting for approval.
Approved
A manager approves it in Cinchio Back Office, and stock is updated.

Record Wastage
Record wasted products front of house in a few taps, ready for a manager to approve.
Steps
1
Open Record Wastage
Open the Operations Hub on your front-of-house device and select Record Wastage on the home page.

Choose when it happened
Choose when the wastage happened, using one of:
The date and time of the wastage.
The date and day part of the wastage. Only if wastage day parts are set up for the site.

Choose a product
Choose a product from the Select Product list, or from the wastage product menu on the right, if your site has one.

Fill in the details
Fill in:
The wastage type.
The size being wasted. Inventory Management users only.
How much is being wasted, in the size shown.

Submit it
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any other products, then select SUBMIT.
A wastage record is created in Cinchio Back Office in Preparation, for a manager to check and approve later.

Choose the reasons staff can record wastage against. See wastage types.
