About
The Remote Orders section of the Operations Hub shows today's orders from remote sources, such as delivery, click & collect and kiosk, so you can manage the flow of orders into your site or location.
View, filter and check the details of remote orders, and resend them to the KMS.
Tell customers their order is ready, or send other updates, where the platform supports it.
Ready to start?
Go to the Managing Orders tab.
Managing Orders
View today's remote orders, change which ones are shown, and see the full details of any order.
Site or location?
For single-merchant companies, orders are shown by site. For multiple-merchant companies, they're shown by location, based on the till the Operations Hub is open on.
Steps
1
Open Remote Orders
Open the Operations Hub on any till in the location and select REMOTE ORDERS.
Future orders are listed by default, along with orders whose pick up time has recently passed, if that's set up. See how long orders stay on screen.
2
Choose which orders to show
To change which orders are shown, use:
Switch between Future Orders today and All Orders today.
Switch between one list of orders in time order, and separate lists for each transaction source.
Hide orders from particular sources. To hide a source permanently, see which orders show.
Show all orders by default
To show all orders, not just future ones, when the page opens, change Default Remote Orders Display on the Global Settings tab of company setup.
3
View the orders
Each order shows these details from the order source:
The order reference.
The estimated pick up time.
The customer's name, if provided.
The start of any order notes. Open the order to see them in full.
Select the + icon on the left of an order to see more:
The Cinchio Back Office transaction ID.
The source that provided the order.
The full order notes, if provided.
The customer's name, if provided.
The customer's contact number, if provided.
Every product in the order.

Supported platforms only
Notifications only work with order platforms that support notification webhooks. They're posted to the webhook set against the source that sent the order.
What do you want to do?
Send a notification
Against any order from a source with a webhook set up, there are two notification buttons:
READY!
Tells the customer the order is ready to collect at the default pick up point, if there is one. A tick shows in the Notified column once it's sent.
NOTIFY
Shown when you select + to see more of the order. Lets you send any other type of notification.

Select + against the order, then NOTIFY.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
QWhich orders show in Remote Orders?
By default, orders from all remote sources, such as delivery, click & collect and kiosk, show in Remote Orders. You can filter out sources on the page at any time.
To stop a source's orders appearing at all, untick Show On Remote Orders Screen on the transaction source.
QHow long do orders stay in Remote Orders?
By default, orders show in the Future Orders view until their pick up time has passed.
To keep them on screen for longer, set Extra Minutes On Screen on each transaction source. Orders then stay in Future Orders for that many minutes after the pick up time.
